The rain held off for Jackson & Laura's engagement session in Downtown Grand Rapids and I am so happy it did! After driving 8+ hours home from a wedding we started our session at 7pm and were able to do one dressy and one casual look before the sun set. We photographed at some of my favorite downtown Grand Rapids locations; In front of the Amway Grand Plaza and Civic Auditorium. We headed to the rooftop for our casual look as the sunset and brought out the flash for some playful photos. Laura and Jack were so much fun and I am looking forward to photographing their wedding at The Clearwater Place Event Venue in August.
