When hockey brought Madison and Benjamin together, they had no idea it would also write the beginning of their lifelong love story. Madison, a Canadian native who grew up with skates laced tight and a stick in hand, came to the U.S. to play Division I hockey at Ohio State University. It was during her collegiate career that Ben, a fellow hockey player, noticed her on Instagram and slid into her DMs—a digital assist that turned into something far more enduring.

Since then, the two have become an inseparable team on and off the ice. Madison recently

retired from professional hockey to support Ben’s pursuit of his own pro hockey dreams, a

testament to the deep mutual devotion that defines their relationship.

Their wedding took place in Ben’s hometown of Ortonville, Michigan, surrounded by

family, lifelong friends, and a veritable all-star roster of hockey talent. Their bridal party alone

boasts elite players like Taylor Girard of the PWHL’s New York franchise, Thomas Harley of the Dallas Stars and 2022 Olympic Gold Medalist Emma Maltais, currently skating for the Toronto PWHL team.
